This fibula would have been used as a decorative brooch or safety pin. An extremely fine example of the mastery that Etruscan goldsmiths were known for in this era. Depicts 55 ducks in the round on the lower portion and lions in the profile on the top— strongly insinuating a Phoenician influence at this time.
