A perfect example of propagandistic art that accompanies any empire, this piece pays little attention to capturing realistic features, point of view or scale, instead showcasing just one of many Assyrian narratives that would have been mounted upon orthostats throughout the citadel. Here, they defeat their enemies passing down a river with an onslaught of arrows.
