L’Arringatore (the Orator)

Found near, Lake Trasimene, the geographical center of Etruria, this work is another beautiful example of the Etruscans’ bronze casting mastery. It is likely that this piece was commissioned by the Romans, as its subject wears high boots in their fashion, and perhaps was the local ruler.
